Rules of play for men who want women to love

In 1986 and in his book "Eve's Rib," Gioconda Belli published this poem that calls for equitable coexistence and harmony between men and women.

only it were so more often. I leave it to see if you like.

I

The man who loves me should know
back the curtains of the skin,
find
deeply into my eyes and know what that breeds in me, swallow transparent
tenderness.

II

The man who loves me
not want to have me as a commodity,
or displayed as a trophy hunt,
know be by my side

with the same love that I'll be beside you.

III

The love of man who loves me
be strong as kapok trees, protective and safe
like them,
clean as a December morning.

IV

Man
I love my smile will not doubt or fear
the abundance of my hair,
respect sadness, silence and caresses
touch my stomach as guitar music
to shoot and
joy from the depths of my body
V

The man who loves me will find me

the hammock to rest the heavy burden of their concerns,
the friend with whom to share their intimate secrets,
the lake to float
without fear that the anchor
commitment prevents him from flying when it happens to be a bird. VI

The man who will love me
poetry with his life, every day

building with an eye toward the future. VII

Above all things,
man who loves me should love the people

not as an abstract word
taken from the manga,
but as something real, concrete,
to whom to pay tribute to
actions and give our lives if necessary. VIII

The man who loves me
recognize my face in the trenches on bended knee

love me while the two fired together
against the enemy.

IX

my man's love
not know the fear of delivery,
not afraid to discover the magic of falling in love
in a place full of crowds.
can scream "I love you
or make labels on top of buildings
proclaiming their right to feel
the most beautiful human feelings. X

my man's love
not flee to the kitchen,
or child's diaper,
be like taking a fresh wind
clouds of sleep and last
weaknesses that, for centuries, kept us apart as beings of different
stature. XI

my man's love
not want labels and tags,
give me air, space,
food to grow and be better, as a revolution

that makes every day
the beginning of a new victory.
